A Family History in Quality Water

G.W. Inc. Water Conditioning is a family owned and operated business in Cheshire, CT, incorporated since 1959. Our founder, Rudolph Gode loved soft water and decided to open a business that would allow others to benefit from having conditioned soft water. Stephen P. Gode started in the business with his father, Rudolph who passed shortly after the business started in 1959.

Many of our customers knew Steve personally from doing business with him over the years. He was well loved and respected in the Water Treatment Industry. He was a former member of the Water Quality Association, Eastern Water Quality Association, and a licensed contractor with the State of Connecticut. During his years of fixing problem water issues, Steve developed our Prestige Filter which he designed to specifically handle problem Connecticut well water issues.

Upon his passing in 2009, the business passed on to his children. Born and raised in the business both Kathy and Steve Jr. continue to follow in the footsteps of their grandfather and father to bring Connecitcut customers the best quality water!
